Hi, I'm Sam from Arizona. I've been on a spiritual “trying to find myself & heal” journey for 15 years. I've tried countless approaches like hypnotherapy, energy work, meds, plant medicine, EFT, equine, inner child work, EMDR, blah blah blah. Each time thinking, “This is it! This is the thing that will finally set me free!”

Spoiler alert: after all the effort, I never quite hit the finish line.

Plenty of shifts happened, yes. But I was still chasing the golden question… Who am I?

I came to The Essence thinking I'd be here for a 2-week retreat, have a breakthrough, and head off to the next adventure. I'm still here!

Once the light turned on — after so long in the dark — I couldn't imagine leaving here.

I'm realizing now — maybe I don't need to find myself. It's okay to just be myself. Nowhere to get. Nothing to do.
